SYNOPSIS
Heavy takes place in poverty-stricken East Chicago, Indiana. Renee King, the matriarch of the family, is fighting to lead her children after her husband, Christopher King, Sr. abruptly leaves after a fight between the two. A rollercoaster ride of emotions centered around a dysfunctional family that is dealing with the aftermath of the father's abrupt departure.
